“De-Hoochief” is a side quest in Wuthering Waves where you will help a researcher to defeat the Hoochiefs inside the cave. This quest will reward you with the following after finishing the parts:

How to Begin De-Hoochief Side Quest
To start the De-Hoochief side quest, you must find the Anxious Researcher. She will be inside an underground cave. This cave can be seen near the teleporter at Wenye Beach, looking south at a settlement. The quest will automatically appear on the map when you are near the area.
Anxious Researcher Location
From the teleporter, look directly south until you see the settlement. Once you see it, the entrance to the underground cave is beside that. Jump down and follow the quest marker to get to the Anxious Researcher.
Talk to the Anxious Researcher
The researcher wonders why there are so many Hoochiefs in the cave, which is also across from where the researcher is looking. You will be tasked to defeat the Hoochiefs.
Defeat the Hoochiefs
Glide across the cliff to get to where the Hoochiefs are. There will be a chest nearby so make sure to get it while you are there too. Defeat the Hoochiefs.
Report to the researcher
Report back to the researcher. This will conclude the quest, and you will receive the rewards.
