“Explosive Spear Tip Testing” is a side quest in Wuthering Waves where you will be playing a challenge using the cannon, and your goal is to get points. This quest will reward you with the following:
2 Medium Sealed Tube
1 Medium Resonance Potion
2 Medium Energy Core
3000 Shell Credits
Aside from the rewards mentioned above, you will get three chests (One Basic Supply Chest and Two Standard Supply Chest) depending on how you did with the challenge. In total, the rewards you can get from the three chests are:
50 Union EXP
25 Astrites
5 Wood-textured Shards
5 Basic Resonance Potion
1 Medium Resonance Potion
1 Medium Energy Core
8000 Shell Credits
How to Begin Explosive Spear Tip Testing Side Quest
To start the Explosive Spear Tip Testing side quest, you must finish the Exploration Quest “We Promise, We Deliver”. Once you finished the Exploration Quest, the Explosive Spear Tip Testing side quest will automatically appear in your Quests tab.

Talk to the Exile in Donglu Research Station
Talk to the Exile inside the Donglu Research Station. He will discuss the rules and what you must do for the testing. After this, you can now start the challenge anytime.
Complete the challenge
To start the challenge, interact with the cannon near the Exile. Once started, you will be given one minute and 30 seconds to get as many points as possible by shooting the targets. Avoid shooting the red targets; whenever possible, try to shoot the bomb target to make an explosion and hit the nearby targets. The highest score goal is 5000 points.
Retry the challenge if you failed
If you didn’t get the highest score goal in the challenge, you can retry the challenge until you reach all the goals.
