Listen to Animals’ Words is a side quest series in Wuthering Waves. In this quest, you encounter a researcher trying to translate what animals are saying. There are currently seven parts: Translation of Cat’s Language, Translation of Rabbit’s Language, Translation of Dog’s Language, Translation of Fish’s Language, Translation of Frog’s Language, Translation of Lizard’s Language, and Translation of Bird’s Language. After completing one, you must wait for a daily reset to encounter the next quest.
Each side quest gives you the following rewards:

10 Astrite
2 Medium Resonance Potion
1 Medium Energy Core
6000 Shell Credits

To begin the Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Cat’s Language in Wuthering Waves, you’ll need to find Xuanyin North of Jinzhou. Here, you’ll find her trying to speak with a cat using her device.

Cook Milky Fish Soup
You’ll need to head to Panhua Restaurant to access the cooking station, and you’ll need to cook one Milky Fish Soup. It requires the following ingredients: 1x Fish, 1x Angelica, 1x Perilla.
You may head east of Jinzhou to look for the Angelica and Perilla scattered around the terrain.
You may also buy Angelica and Fish for 1500 Shell Credits each from Mahe’s Grocery, slightly northwest of Panhua Restaurant.
Angelica and Perilla may also be bought at Shifang Pharmacy from Koko for 1000 Shell Credits each.
After cooking the Milky FIsh Soup, head back to Xuanyin at the same location (which will be marked on your map) and deliver the soup. This will be the end of the quest.
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Rabbit’s Language Side Quest
After a day in real life has passed, use the Resonance Beacon north of Jinzhou. Then, go to the left side of the guard tower and you should see Xuanyin again with a rabbit.

Give Pearl Leaf
You would only need to give one Pearl Leaf to Xuanyin to complete this quest, and after delivering it, you would receive the rewards.
You can explore the area around Jinzhou for Pearl Leaf, with some even inside the Jinzhou. If you don’t want to look around, you may head to Shifang Pharmacy and buy Pearl Leaf for 1000 Shell Credits from Koko.
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Dog’s Language Side Quest
Wait for a daily reset if you just finished the Translation of Rabbit’s Language before proceeding with Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Dog’s Language. You will find Xuanyin southeast of Jinzhou. She will be seen standing in front of five dogs.

Find traces of puppies
Here, you will need to use the Sensor (which Sanhua gave you) by holding Tab on your keyboard. After speaking with Xuanyin, just use the Sensor (press T), and it will mark where you need to go. You will see a lot of dogs in front of two people, Zhuxi and Yingqi.
Talk to Xuanyin
After the encounter with the dogs, Zhuxi and Yingqi, speak to Xuanyin, who will be nearby. This will mark the end of the quest!
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Fish’s Language Side Quest
To start the Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Fish’s Language, head just a little bit South of Stone Pile Plain. You will find Xuanyin near the water, talk to her to find out what the Tetra are saying.
It’s a quick quest and you’ll only need to talk to Xuanyin to finish it.
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Frog’s Language Side Quest
The quest series continues, this time with a frog. Make sure that a day had passed since you did the last quest. Locate Xuanyin West of Jinzhou. You will see her standing near a frog. There’s not much to this quest but to talk to Xuanyin.
As usual, wait another day after this quest for the next one.
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Lizard’s Language Side Quest
After a day in real time has passed, you can find Xuanyin East of the Lollo Warehouse near the Resonance Nexus in Huanglong – Whining Aix’s Mire. After speaking with Xuanyin, talk to the Geohide Saurian with the translation module. You’ll have to defeat the TD when it becomes hostile. This marks the end of this side quest.
As usual, wait another day after this quest for the next one.
How to Begin Listen to Animals’ Words: Translation of Bird’s Language Side Quest
Assuming you’ve waited for a daily reset since completing the last part of this side quest, you will find Xuanyin at Port Gunchao. She will be beside a bird near the boarding area. This time, you’ll need to give Xuanyin a Star Flake.
After cooking the Star Flake, just return to Xuanyin and deliver it to her. This will mark the end of this part of the side quest.
