“Lost Ranger” is a side quest in Wuthering Waves where you will be helping Grandma Jue find her son, Guhong, who is a Midnight Ranger. This quest will reward you with the following:

2 Medium Resonance Potion
2 Medium Energy Core
3000 Shell Credits
How to Begin Lost Ranger Side Quest
To start the Lost Ranger side quest, you must find Grandma Jue. She can be found in the city of Jinzhou. This quest will automatically appear on your map when you are near the area. Note that this quest is only available during the daytime.
Ask the Ministry of War about Guhong
Go to the Ministry of War and talk to Shiyu. She will ask you to find Guhong for them as she also doesn’t know Guhong’s whereabouts. After talking to her, you’ll receive Guhong’s contact information, and Guhong will mention his location in Desorock Cave.
Find Guhong in Desorock Cave
Fast travel to the nearest Waypoint. Find Guhong lying in the grass near the Impermanence Heron and talk to him.
Defeat the Tacet Discords
Tacet Discords will suddenly attack you, so defeat all the Tacet Discords. Make sure not to trigger the Impermanence Heron to make things easier. Escort Guhong back to Grandma Jue.
Report back to Grandma Jue
Talk to Grandma Jue and Guhong; this concludes the quest, and you’ll receive the rewards.
