Rerolling accounts is a common strategy in gacha games, allowing players to secure powerful characters from the start, and Wuthering Waves is no exception. In this article, we’ll guide you through the rerolling process to help you get the best possible start by aiming for the best standard 5✯ Resonators to reroll for.

Is rerolling worth it?

I personally think rerolling is not worth it as it takes too much time and is RNG, so you might go from one account to ten accounts without even getting the 5-star you want. Aside from that, these are more reasons why I think rerolling is not worth it:

  • Rerolling takes a lot of time. It will take you roughly 30 minutes to an hour to reroll just one account.
  • There is no “Guest Login” option, and you can’t use salted emails (adding ‘+’ between the name and the @gmail portion of your email address), meaning you’ll need lots of emails if you plan on rerolling.
  • You are guaranteed to get at least two standard 5✯ from the Novice Convene and Character Permanent Convene.
  • 5✯ rates are low at 0.8% and you can go through all your accounts without getting an early 5✯.

If this doesn’t stop you, go ahead, and I’ll guide you through the rerolling process.

How to reroll

Before you start, prepare multiple email addresses since you will need a new one for each reroll attempt due to the lack of guest login and blocked salted emails.

  1. Create a New Account: Use a new email address for each reroll attempt.
  2. Complete the Tutorial
    • Meet Yangyang and Chixia
    • After you meet up with Baizhi, you’ll fight the Crownless
    • Head to Jinzhou
    • Continue the main quest until Baizhi joins your party and you unlock the summoning system.
  3. Collect rewards: Collect the pre-registration rewards from your mailbox for summoning.
  4. Perform Your Summons: Use your available resources to summon characters.
  5. Evaluate Your Pulls: If you didn’t get the characters you wanted, log out and repeat the process with a new email.

Seems easy right? Not really. This usually takes 30 to 60 minutes or even more depending on how you play the tutorial. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with your pulls.

Best Standard 5✯ Resonators to reroll for

All of the standard 5✯ Resonators are good to have from the start, providing different benefits to your account. I’ll be ranking the standard 5✯ Resonators based on their reroll value.

Verina Thumbnail Wuthering Waves
1. Verina

Attribute: spectro wuthering waves Spectro | Role: Support

Verina is one of the best support characters in Wuthering Waves upon launch, providing crucial team-wide heals and buffs. Her abilities include off-field damage and a revive mechanic, which can prevent your team from wiping in critical moments. Verina is essential for top-tier team compositions, especially in endgame content, where survivability and support buffs are key. She not only heals but also provides ATK and DMG% buffs (with her Outro Skill), making her the top priority for rerolling.

Encore Thumbnail Wuthering Waves
2. Encore

Attribute: fusion wuthering waves Fusion | Role: Main DPS

Encore is a versatile DPS character who can switch between ranged and melee attacks. During her Ultimate, she becomes even more powerful with her melee attacks, dealing significant burst damage. Encore is relatively easier to play compared to Calcharo, making her an excellent choice for players who prefer straightforward, high-damage characters. Her main downside is the lack of dedicated Fusion support characters to enhance her damage further, but she still remains a solid pick for any team. She is also a good pick in endgame content.

Calcharo Thumbnail Wuthering Waves
3. Calcharo

Attribute: electro wuthering waves Electro | Role: Main DPS

Calcharo is an exceptional main DPS character who shines with his intricate combo sequences and high damage potential. He excels in delivering sustained damage through long combos and making sure you maximize his Deathblade Gear State, making him perfect for players who enjoy a complex and skillful playstyle. However, his high damage comes at the cost of being difficult to play optimally, requiring precise execution to fully unleash his potential.  If you’re up for the challenge and can master his mechanics, Calcharo can be a powerful addition to your team, especially when you pair him with Yinlin, making him even more powerful. Also really good in endgame content.

Jianxin Thumbnail Wuthering Waves
4. Jianxin

Attribute: aero wuthering waves Aero | Role: Hybrid

Jianxin is a hybrid character that blends support and DPS roles. She is highly versatile and excels in overworld content and farming due to her strong AoE damage and ability to sustain herself and her team. Jianxin’s diverse kit makes her a valuable asset for various situations, but she struggles in endgame content where more specialized roles are preferred. Despite this, her ability to handle multiple roles makes her an excellent choice for players finding flexibility in their team composition.

Lingyang Thumbnail Wuthering Waves
5. Lingyang

Attribute: glacio wuthering waves Glacio | Role: Main DPS

Lingyang‘s ability to fly during his Resonance Liberation offers a unique playstyle in the game. This airborne combat allows him to dodge and attack from a different angle, making him an exciting and fun character. However, his control while flying can be challenging, and issues with boss hitboxes can sometimes affect his performance. Lingyang’s unique mechanics make him a character you’ll either love or find challenging to manage, but his strong burst damage makes him a worthwhile consideration.
