When carrying “Resolving Caliber”, use Basic Attack after Heavy Attack: Strategic Parry or Intro Skill: Defense Formation to cast Timed Counters, performing up to 3 consecutive attacks, dealing Havoc damage, considered as Basic Attack damage.

Timed Counters consume 1 “Resolving Caliber” upon hitting an enemy to grant a shield. After casting the Intro Skill Defense Formation, using Basic Attack can directly cast Timed Counters.

Taoqi can hold up to 3 Resolving Caliber. Basic Attack IV will consume all of Taoqi’s Rocksteady Shields to obtain that many “Resolving Caliber”. While Rocksteady Shield exists, when the on-field character is attacked, 1 Rocksteady Shield will be consumed, and “Resolving Caliber” is recovered. After Rocksteady Shield ends, all remaining Rocksteady Shield will be consumed to grant that many “Resolving Caliber”.

Sonata Effect: 5x Moonlit Clouds

The Bell-Borne Geochelone is the best Main Echo for Taoqi due to the fact that its damage scales off of DEF, which Taoqi would have a lot of since her skills also base off of this. This also provides a shield with damage reduction and damage boost for the team.

The Sonata effect is the Moonlit Clouds which gives Energy Regen and buffs the ATK of the next Resonator.

Sonata Effect: 5x Moonlit Clouds

Instead of the Bell-Borne Geochelone, you’ll be using the Impermanance Heron as the Main Echo. This allows her to gain Resonance Energy, and using Taoqi’s Outro Skill within 15s would increase the next character’s damage. This is more focused on letting Taoqi use her Liberation and buff her teammates.

The Sonata effect is still Moonlit Clouds which gives Energy Regen and buffs the ATK of the next Resonator.

Forte Circuit would be Taoqi’s main priority as this would increase the damage she deals as well as her how much damage her shield can take. If you’re playing her as a sub-DPS, level up her Resonance Liberation first before her Resonance Skill as its one of her main damage sources. Basic Attack and Intro Skill can be leveled up last.

Best Teams

Taoqi‘s gameplay can be quite slow compared to other Wuthering Waves Resonators, and can be played as a sub-DPS and support. However, it may be best to place her in the sub-DPS slot as Verina or Baizhi are better options for the support slot. It’s best to stack up Concerto Energy with your Main DPS to trigger Taoqi’s Intro Skill, gaining shield and deals damage.

Danjin constantly needs to use up her HP for her Skill to deal her combo, so she would benefit a lot from Taoqi‘s shields. Not only that but Taoqi’s Outro Skill increases Resonance Skill DMG Deepen. Then, support characters can be Verina or Baizhi, but the former is the better choice overall.

Danjin can be replaced by the Havoc Rover if you don’t have her.

How to Get

Character Event Convene

Players can get Taoqi with drop rate-up through the limited banner “When Thunder Pours” Character Event Convene as one of the three 4-Star Resonators.

Character Permanent Convene

In the permanent standard banner “Tidal Chorus,” you have a chance to get Taoqi. You are guaranteed one 4-Star or higher rarity item for every 10 Convenes.

Novice Convene

The same as in the permanent standard banner, you have a chance to get Taoqi in the Novice Convene. You are guaranteed one 4-Star or higher rarity item for every 10 Convenes. This banner is discounted but will be gone after completing the 50 pulls with a guaranteed 5-star Resonator.
